No Broken Bones

With just a week left until the wedding, Nicole and Isaac came over to the studio to do an engagement session. Isaac wanted to try something on his bike with Nicole in the picture. Because of an "equipment malfunction" we were not able to get the exact shot. We did get a few cool shots. I think that the road rash should heal before their wedding next week in Vegas!

00 -'g-town'

On a soccer scholarship to Georgetown, Seth is waiting for high school to end. He came to us with some ideas for a cool photo shoot and we had a great time making his ideas come to life.
We started the shoot at his high school soccer field and ended up in the alley next to our studio with some lights and a fog machine (a James Bond-esque look.) It was fun to be challenged with a shoot like that.
Good luck at School Seth. We'll see you in the MLS soon!

Old World Style

Katie is getting married in a palace in her beautiful home town in Poland.

She came to us for a bridal session to capture the essense of who she is and what she wanted for her wedding. We had a consultation to plan out a location and a look for her session. Katie wanted a fashion type shoot. We had a few great locations picked out and were ready to go.

The day of the shoot the rain wouldn't let up. Katie couldn't change the hair and makeup appointments so we decided to stay in the studio and do the full session indoors. Holding to the desire Katie had for a fashion shoot, we worked in different areas of our studio to give some real unique looks to her images.

After a few minutes Katie relaxed into the shoot and we had a great time shooting. The images that resulted were amazing. I had a hard time trying to pick a favorite - I still haven't. This image is just one of the many that I would gladly use.

A beautiful time

Lately we have found ourselves shooting more and more portrait sessions - which Seth loves a lot. We are able to really open up our creative minds and run with ideas and interests. We had the chance to work with one of our favorite clients this week - Teal and her daughter Alyssa.
This session found us all in Teal's bathroom shooting her and Alyssa in the shower. Aside from the lighting difficulties we had to work through, the images came our beautifully. It was truly a pleasure to be able to preserve these intimate moments for teal and her daughter.
Unfortunatly, moments like these are what we so long to remeber but too often forget. We are so blessed in what we do to be able to ensure that these memories will not be forgotton but live on eternally. Thanks teal!

Vegas 2007

We just got back from the WPPI show in Las Vegas. We had a great time and saw several of our friends from the our local photo community. We were also able to spend some time in phoenix with our kids and family. We were paking up to come home and I had a bungee cord issue which sent me to the ER and to a dentist. I'm going to be recovering over the next few days...(desiree did amazing things to get the blood out of my shirt!!)
We are excited to be back in town and back to work.
